AAC Football Media Day

Postby JoeKidd » Fri Jul 17, 2015 4:13 am

Does anyone know when and where the AAC is going to hold their football media days? I haven't seen anything listed specifically on the AAC's website, but may be missing it.

It is Aug 3...it isn't easy to find on the AAC football page (http://theamerican.org/index.aspx?path=football), but it is there under the schedule section.

I know the HQ is in Providence, but it seems like we might be able to generate a bit more media buzz with media day in a place with a bit more football media.

Of course, I'm sure everybody loves a little mini-vacation in Newport in August!

How many conferences are headquartered in Dallas already?

Conference USA, Big 12, Lone Star

It would make a lot of sense for a conference like The American since it is so easy for everybody to get to DFW (well, except for East Carolina but that's their fault...)

Power 5 Schools have average revenue of 4-7 times the AAC. Well we know where we want to be and where we don't anyway.
