SMU takes NCAA minimum qualifiers, time to see what these hungry coaches can do!

I'm not even sure we have an available scholarship now-not sure how they treat all these Graduate Transfers

This kid was a highly ranked running back recruit, if we got a spot I hope we go after him. I saw that we were recruiting him before he committed to Texas and then switched to Wisconsin.

Rumor has it that it's not a case of low grades, but a problem with credit transfers.

You gotta think within a week or so that guy would be starting, and would have a chance to put up major yards in this offense.

If he past NCAA requirements SMU would take him. A while ago there was a thread about required high school course work for admissions and SMU requires less than say UT and takes the NCAA min. Rumor is Nebraska is the current leader, losing a star recruit to conference opponent due to admin issues would be a real kicker. Now it makes more sense why Bielema left for Arkansas. I doubt we have much of a chance, given the programs already make a run at him even this late.

I like the 2015 recruits, but he would be a huge bonus and his run threat would be a great help to the QB and the passing game. Late opportunities like this are why I am so glad the coaching staff is working hard to develop deep relationships with all of the area schools, for future situations like this.

Yep, I have a feeling that there'll be more pressure for changes at Wisconsin in the not-so-distant future.

If he goes to Nebraska and lights up Wisconsin that will be interesting.

Looks like it is down to Nebraska and Alabama and his mom likes Alabama.
