The NCAA has probably banned this, but let's just go all the way and make some LED-lined helmets for a "blackout"/night game:

Pretty sure the guys would love to wear black helmets for an early afternoon game at home in September. Can't think of anything better than a 1300 start time, 100+ degrees on the field, and black helmets!

I'm sure the 22 recruits (13 with P5 offers) agree with us old men. Times have changed, every top 25 program in Texas has multiple Unis, shoes, gloves, underwear, socks, etc. Time to get with it.

It's not a need its a want. When they visit Baylor they see all the cool stuff. Showing them our one old helmet puts us behind. TRUTH

Gee, that's swell Joey.... . I don't have to like it but I do agree that the times have changed. Today's money sport athletes demand the superfluous fluff stuff. Just the way it is. Kind of candy [deleted] if you ask me but whatever it takes...no pain, no gain I guess.
