Cool tweet from ESPN's Trav Haney...

Postby East Coast Mustang » Sun Jul 26, 2015 10:51 pm

The losers on this board like footballdad will hate to see this, but national analysts know that the SMU program has a lot of potential, and now has the right coach in place to see it through

Nice to see some love from an ESPN reporter. If we could somehow pull off a .500 season, recruiting and overall program momentum might really take off.

Oh Joe: From your mouth to GOD's ears. (I really don't pray for sport things)

One statement Turner said to me on the boulevard that is true.
The one that shall not be mentioned (not the way Turner put it) at least proved we could win at SMU.
That guy won mostly with Bennett's recruits but WOW what can happen now that we have somebody beating the bushes for players and is a good coach.

I showed my wife the two stadium photos. When She saw the UH stadium, she replied yuck, where is that? She does not care for football by the way.

Looks like a old dumpy big time stadium vs our nice classy small time stadium
