Seems odd people say TCU and Baylor will go downhill after Patterson and Briles are gone but we will be fine after LB is gone. In all cases it just depends on how well one does in choosing the replacement.

Don't believe anyone is saying that definitely, but there's a great insight that has served me well over the years, it's called 'Regression towards the Mean'.

For what it's worth, I believe we can be very good even after LB is gone. I just do not think TCU and Baylor will definitely falter, which might be termed treading water.

I think there is virtually zero chance Baylor & TCU can sustain the success they had last season.

OU and more so UT will return to their rightful place on the food chain. Maybe not this season, but eventually.

If I were a betting man I would agree with you. But I also would have bet the flip of those 4 would have never happened, so I will hold on to my money.

I didn't think A&M would ever win more than 5 in the SEC or TCU would ever win more than 5 in the Big 12-2, so what do I know?
