Hard to see UNT as an "attendance" game:
1989 - 21K -
1990 - 22.7K - away
1992 - 10.2K
2006 - 25.5K - away
2007 - 20.5K
2014 - 22.4K - away

We should shun unt at every turn, period. Acknowledging them gives them relevance.

Boise opened and lost to Ole Miss last year. That was their only P5 game. They also played G5+ BYU. Glad we are getting away from the upper P5 three team early season gauntlet. I know some people want an old SWC OOC no matter how many blow outs is causes, but you only need one/two P5 games a season to make your way to an access bowl. The AAC championship game should have a ranked or near ranked opponent. The players just need a reasonable chance to get an undefeated or one loss season to get to a access bowl. Stacking the odds so heavily against them is idiotic and gives no chance for growth or building a buzz. Dallas loves winners, even if its against G5s. No one likes a team that gets blown out.

Same goes for Texas St and UTSA's football programs.

Should be

TCU
Vandy/Northwestern/BC/Indiana/Wash St type team

The UNT series is through 2025, and I am not a fan of establishing a "rivalry" with them. In recruiting SMU has already completely separated itself in recruiting ability. The separation in play will be quick to show as the series progresses and this turns more into the Denton tune up game. I would rather they just constantly mix UNT, UTSA, UTEP, TxSt, and Rice with no real long term series. Given this series is not a big pay day for UNT, perhaps in a few years they will look to end early and instead get a payday from an Alabama type school if they start losing by larger and larger margins.

Ok, I will approve UTEP and Rice from your list.

Any other new business?

We could easily be 11-1 in 2019 if things go well and the rebuilding is as successful as it appears it might be.

Great schedule, y'all are forgetting that in 2019 we will be in the PAC10 so these games make perfect sense.

First off, there is no Pac-10 anymore and the Pac-12 won't take any religious institutions.

Was USC started by the Methodists and UTAH by the Mormons?
