Is Prescott an NFL fullback? Really? I stopped reading after that.

I have a feeling the writer was thinking we still had Zach. He was a little off in some of the personnel, but I still think he is pretty spot on. You have to remember he is grading us in respect to the Big 12. Not even our sunniest sunshiners should rate us even average against Big 12 teams at this time.

How much did Bill and Hillary make while she was Secretary of State?

It makes you wonder where all their fans were back when they sucked. They have this attitude as if they are this great football school with tradition. The majority of their alumni only started slapping BU stickers on their cars when RGIII stepped on campus.

I don't mind their fans who have been involved with their program since when they were terrible, but the new comers are terribly annoying.

Granted, I would love for our program to get to the point where we attract those fans.

I believe it was East Coast Mustang who suggested "Leave No Doubt" as a motto. Surely all SMU fans who post on this message board know the background and agree.

I suspect the Baylor football coaches, captains, and traveling squad will all have that attitude this season starting Friday night.

IMO myrdel and smufootballdad summed up our situation very well. So did our coach when he said the opening game does not define our season.

I'm old enough to remember Bear Bryant's first season at ATM after the camp at Junction. I remember also Hayden Fry's first three seasons at SMU. There was promise after the first two years that was not realized the third because of injuries and so on.

I hope this year on the Hilltop, with (among other things) a coaching staff with a different public face than the last, is the start of something of something good.

Go Ponies.
