I kinda like the guy we have.

I would much rather have a great guy like Chad with multiple BCS bowls and just missing the national playoffs of course...

Just saying that if Gary patterson was the coach of smu tomorrow I'd be okay with it. But that's not likely seeing as he isn't helping anymore



Edit: not that I'd trade GP for cm but a worse coach could definitely be hired

This may be one of the first times I have cheered for ut.

I'm for Texas when they play Alabama or Notre Dame and generally when they play an out of state team not from Oklahoma.

Hard at present for me to think of any other time.

I'm talking about sports and my feelings would be much the same had they not dropped SMU from the list of schools they would schedule although I respect the football program they had which must now be rebuilt. And I certainly believe it is a good college.
