Herman calling this game a battle for Texas recruiting

No herman is a great coach. I was insulting his salary that your school gave him and their ability to keep that salary competitive.

SMU is paying Morris 1.3M, and UH is paying Herman 1.35M. UH also gave Herman a much larger pool for assistant coaches. Highest in the G5.

Morris was getting 1.3M at Clemson. His SMU salary is much higher.

That said, I have concern about the experience level of our assistant coaches.

Check back in 2017 when morris hits his stride and herman is UTs head coach since uh can only pay him p5 coordinator money.

May not take that long. If Strong is gone after this year I'd say there is a decent chance Texas goes after him.

Let's just hope it is Herman and not Morris. A lot of the UT fan base seems to like Morris.

Btw, I've heard from several UT elite clients that have stated that they have their #1 and Herman isn't it neither is Morris.... But it's a name that we all know.... Strong will be gone potentially after OU game if he doesn't lock it down....

About to announce a 45 million separate practice facility to supplement our existing indoor facility... 25mm basketball facility for Sampson is operational in November and we break ground in 2016 on the hoffeinz renovation... Smu is more than along for the ride, I assure you of that. Give it a couple of years and this match up will be interesting again! Herman and morris are both great but herman was dealt a much better hand in terms of what the last coach left behind on the roster...just have to play some catch up first

David Piland received 3 concussions that game and 2 previous to that game....

It almost cost him his life but fortunately he's getting better and is a GA somewhere.... You scored 70'points but I also remember Houston scoring 49 or 50?!? The margin of victory wasn't that big....

We own the overall series and lead the last 10!!! So I don't think anyone in Cougar Nation is overly conceded until you guys get consistent
