Another P5 job opening

Jerry Kill stepping down immediately at Minnesota due to health. He is the one who has had seizures on the sidelines.

Up to six now (Illinois, Maryland, Miami, Minnesota, South Carolina, USC). There were seven last cycle.

We could see more than 10 this year. Virginia and Iowa St. are not looking good, plus backfilling and there are always surprises.

Totally just a hunch, but watch out for Bielema at Arkansas. They have Ole Miss, Mizzou, Miss State, and LSU the rest of the way in the SEC, and I think they'll lose all 4. If they only win 4 games (they have an FCS game left), they might get tired of his antics. Fair or not, it's his third year. mrydel?

Also, you always have to wonder when Snyder will hang it up at K-State. He's 75, and while I think he could coach forever, he's been out and about publicly talking about how he wants his son to take over. Who knows....

He didn't retire...the President retired him. Snyder got him axed, and took his rightful spot back.

They're going to have to drag him out of there. Same with Beamer.

Bielema has a $2,000,000 buy out if he chooses to leave. He has a $12,000,000 buy out if he is fired. He is not going anywhere right now, good or bad. And my bet is that they will beat UT Martin, Missouri and at least one of the Mississippis.

Bless his heart. I kind of like him as a coach. Would not trade Morris for him but would not have been upset had we hired him had Morris and Herman turned us down.

Not P5, but Hawaii just fired Norm Chow. I'll just leave it at that

That leaves P5 openings at Illinois, Maryland, Miami, Minnesota, South Carolina, USC, and Virginia Tech. Plenty more on the way I'm sure

I believe Bud Foster is in line for that job.
