What do you think about this Tristecoog?

I'm hearing Tom Herman (Houston) has an offer on the table to replace # Spurrier at South Carolina. Ok, scramble.... Now!

Herman's Atlanta connections make him attractive to South Carolina.

He won't have to beg their fans to go to games.

I'm thinking he can do better than South Carolina after another year or two and it's too soon for a top 10 caliber school to give him the reigns and pay $4-5M per year. What kind of huge Atlanta connections does he have? I believe the USC AD is very familiar with him but I'm not sure that he has anywhere near the connections that HCCM does.

I believe UH will offer Herman $2.3-2.5M this year and give assistants a boost too. The admin knows they have a gem on their hands and his requests aren't unreasonable, given what he's delivered so far. However, it's kind of funny because there wouldn't be near as much hoopla if we'd lost to Louisville. One game but a big difference.

I bet he goes there and then goes to an even bigger job within 4 years.

If South Carolina can beat Florida today, there's a good chance Elliott has the interim tag lifted. His players love playing for him and he's got that Dabo Swinney type enthusiasm. Big game for SC today

Hermann was buckeye ace recruiter in GA. Gamecocks have to recruit heavily in Atl, to compete in the SEC.

I don't think he leaves after one year. He has already lined some outstanding 2017 commitments.

It's one of those years where everything is going our way, which is the opposite of Phil Bennett's last couple years. Seven losses by a TD or less.

A very well reasoned analysis. You must be banned from the other boards that UH fans frequent for such logical heresy.
