Lol nice analogy. The coaches job is to teach and get the players to execute. You can have the most talented players in the world but if the scheme and play calling doesn't play to their strengths you will still struggle.

I totally agree. And I am not defending Malone as a coach. I just do not believe he has the talent to execute at this time. Just like Morris does not have his whole offense in yet, Malone cannot put together any type of good defense until he gets some talent. Then we can judge.

I also agree he doesn't have the talent but I still think they shouldn't look this bad. You are saying yourself Morris doesn't have the talent either yet they are doing much better than last year but the defense is not. Either way we just have to recruit athletes. Hopefully we win this game.

But Morris has added some of his own players and had a built in QB for his system. Malone is working with the same players that did not perform last year.
