Is there a plan for this? I feel like i was anticipating an announcement on this, and now... nothing...

Will we ever have one?

2018 at the earliest. Morris and the staff have stopped communicating the plans with recruits. Administration was shown renderings of what was proposed and the price tag associated with it and balked.

The IPF has been discussed at SMU for over 10 years. Schools that have a full commitment to winning and competing at the Division 1-A level have an indoor practice facility. How come other schools with less rescouces than SMU are doing so much better than SMU in football? Are Memphis, Temple, Houston, and Tulsa doing well this year? How many more wins does Tulane and even Rice have than SMU? Why was Orsini fired when he actually pushed for a Top 25 agenda? Orsini tried to get an IPF and wanted to change the agenda to put a winner on the field. But he was shown the door. The coaches, ADs, and players have changed over the years but the one constant has been President Turner.

I guess our alumni don't have that commitment then because until somebody writes the check its not getting done. Private G5 schools with 10,000 fans don't build IPFs-alumni do

Orsini was fired because he was not good at the job he was hired to do.

An IPF is a symbol, and if everyone who posts here commits to $100,000 and a few others commit $5mil then dirt may start to move. Until then, we will have to do it the old fashioned way.

Ain't happening. Another small reason Morris will be looking for greener pastures sooner, than later.

Some may say it doesn't matter, but Morris made a HUGE deal of the new football building and IPF, to any and all within earshot, when he first got here. Nothing but crickets since.

We'll be moving on with Morris about the same time. Glad he came along.

An IPF would be good.
