Chad talked to LSU AD as well and are close to a deal. 7 year, $10M/yr. Sources saying job is Chad's to lose.

If Chad can get the LSU HC job then good luck and god bless.

I can see the guy at ULL, Hudspeth, getting a shot if they can deal with the idea that they are getting an in-state schools proven commodity. Why that guy hasn't been mentioned more in the last few months is beyond me.

I think LSU would be crazy to fire Miles. He has an incredible young team and has arguably the best recruiting class thus far on paper.

That said, does anyone think for a second that a high level prestigious football program like LSU would hire a HC from vastly inferior programs? HCCM hasn't proven himself and ULaLa doesn't get any respect in Baton Rouge.

If LSU can cough up 15+ million to buy out Les when the higher education situation in LA is near bankrupt, then LSU can sure find the money to hire a very successful Big 10, Pac 12 or Big 12 HC.

Hell, if for whatever reason HCCM leaves us and Miles gets fired I would absolutely want SMU to talk to him.
