Doesn't matter. I get interviewed all the time and tell them up front I will talk but I won't move. They either think they can sway me or more often use my experience to give them a potential list of candidates.

Quote could be in regards to whether or not he is taking the job. He probably did meet with them, but as another has said, who cares.

I have interviewed for many jobs in the past when I have been completely satisfied in my current job. It's kind of like the 'make me move' postings on Zillow. That means I could be happy where I am but if the offer is good enough I could be swayed to leave. Morris could be very happy and committed to his $2mil/yr gig, but if someone comes along and says I'll give you $4mil/yr then it may be worth a talk. Doesn't mean he will do it.

In my experience, you want the people that others want. Same as recruiting. If someone wants the same guy there is probably a reason for it.
