He is a good recruiter, a good coach and works hard. Nope, he does not fit the JJ coaching staff profile

If you are still making June Jones jokes on every possible thread and ones like this that have nothing to do with June or his time here, you have to ask yourself why. You guys sound like a girl who claims she is over her ex but talks about him nonstop. Let. It. Go. :)

I am so sorry. I forgot you ran the site. At least I related it in some way to SMU.

It's just kind of funny. Almost every topic somehow comes back to June Jones and his half [deleted] effort. Dude was a loser, he's gone, and we got a winner now. All of June's horribleness lead us to Chad Morris which could be just what we needed and might finally get this thing moving. Onwards boys. June ain't worth talking about!

Everything that has happened in the past has led us to where we are. Without Jones we might not have Morris who may turn out to be the answer. Lessons learned in hiring a person like Jones will guide us in the future.

Plus, it was just a joke.

Miles is gone, Jimbo is in at LSU.

I really hope too we have learned about the coaching profile SMU needs to look for too. I give this last search high marks in focusing on the right factors

Fify. And on a side note, Jimbo Fisher is a very good recruiter and a very good coach who can develop QB's.

that's been proven wrong several times on this board-I had him listed among a list of 7 candidates at the start of the search.

that's why this time I decided to rank my candidates in order-I had

1. Chad Morris
2. Tom Herman
3. Phillip Montgomery
4. Lincoln Riley

A little AAC news before #SMU kick off. According to @McMurphyESPN, Tulane has fired head coach Curtis Johnson

This firing spree is becoming comical.
