If Morris decides to leave then this is who I say SMU should approach first about the opening.

LSU clearly thinks they can get Jimbo Fisher or else this move is really surprising. Spending 15 million to buy out a coach has to mean you have somebody lined up. Although when ND fired Ty Wittingham, they were pretty certain they had Urban Meyer.

I think les miles takes his 15 million dollar buyout and waits it out. I think he is an amazing recruiter but never thought he was an elite coach. Good but not elite. Entertaining to watch as a non fan of LSU, but man they had a ton of talent always bizzare play calling. He gambled and won a lot. I recall when Jimbo was being mentioned for the SMU job when we hired Bennett

I hear that he pays well and is slow to fire a HC.

If I were Missouri (or MSU if Mullen leaves) I'd have Les on the phone ASAP. 110-32 would get you a statue next to the stadium also anywhere else in the country.

I could see Miles at a place like Nebraska-they've lost their recruiting MOJO and they are sitting in the middle of nowhere from a recruiting perspective

How old is he? Jones could use him as a DC in Hawaii as long as he would let up in his recruiting.
