PonyFans.com Q&A: Chris Banjo

Postby PonyPride » Thu Apr 14, 2016 5:24 pm

Former SMU safety Chris Banjo is used to playing an underdog role. Although not recruited heavily, he became a crucial part of the SMU secondary for four years. After going undrafted out of school, he sat out of football for a year and then made the Green Bay Packers a year later as a free agent. Banjo visited with PonyFans.com to discuss his approach to retaining his spot in the NFL, how his role might evolve in 2016 ... and his upcoming wedding.

I will continue to say he is too small to play in the NFL. And I will continue to hope he keeps proving me wrong. Good head on his shoulders. Wish him the best going forward.

I still can't believe he was out of football for a year and then still made the NFL. Good luck, Chris
