Sounds like Alabama is self-reporting violations and cooperating with NCAA for 3rd time in 5 years-Of course, I realize from MexMustang that nobody self-reports or cooperates with NCAA-except they ALL do-ALL the Time. Put your favorite school into a google search and add the words self reporting NCAA violations.

All I want to know is did he or did he not give someone a hat? If so, is Saban being forced to resign?

From the above referenced article. "The source compared Davis' alleged violations to the NCAA violations committed by former Florida wide receivers coach Joker Phillips in 2014. Phillips ultimately resigned from Florida, and the Gators received no further penalties from the NCAA."

I expect the exact thing since this is only the 3rd inquiry over 5 years.

If you think that these self-reported violations constitute more than just scratching the surface of what really goes on at big time programs you are stupid, ignorant, or a dangerous combination of both.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Like leaving a minor error on your tax form, in an audit they have to find something... might as well have it stop at minor. Of course major programs volunteer something minor... happens every year, but let's not go any further!

A former assistant at a major SEC program told me that's exactly how it works. 'OK, who wants to get their hand slapped this year, for the good of the program.."
