Littl' Tom Hermann is Only Tied with Chad Morris

Postby Stallion » Thu May 12, 2016 8:36 pm

in Head-to-Head recruiting matchups according to the Rivals Database 2015-2017-despite Morris recruiting with 1-11 and 2-10 records. Sounds like Hermann hearing footsteps. #Embarrassing

Exactly. Once that happens then God be with you because no one else will be.

Loved it during the National championship game when some punk on the sideline was mouthing of to Deshaun Watson and she tweeted what we all thought.. That the dude needed throat punched.

I also think Stallion is onto something. In order to put Herman in his place, I say we borrow a page from the Trump strategy and refer to him hereafter as Little Tom Herman.

Trump has been genius, at branding people with nicknames that stick. Maybe we should contact him on twitter...and get him to come up with one for Herman. Bitter Tom, Hermans Hermits? 8)

Claiming that the are tied in in recruiting is for losers. Recruiting rankings are like draft rankings - worthless. In 3 years, we will know who "won" the recruiting wars.

Because Herman inherited a great (G5 team and Morris inherited a team without a defense, comparing their records after 1 season is folly. Although things appear to be improving for SMU, Morris will need 3-4 years to field a competitive team against Cougar Hig.

Inferiority complex anyone? He destroyed the entire conference on the recruiting front last year.

Best to just beat him on the field, or on the recruiting front, before talking smack.

According to Rivals, commits offered by both SMU and Houston for 2017 class:

SMU got Harrison Loveless

Houston got Adam Beck, Carlos Grace & Marqez Bimage

yeah and Bimage is a soft commit still strongly considering SMU-he just committed to the first school that offered and is quite candid he is looking around

Did Herman inherit a great team or did he make the team he inherited great? He inherited an 8-5 team that lost to Tulane and got blown out by UTSA. Does that sound like a great team? It was bad enough to get the prior coach fired.

But a private school dreaming of winning 7 games might think that's great
