The publicity is awesome. The only reason I might disagree is our depth at RB might lower the numbers.

I'm sure in using different criteria, but Matt Davis is by far the most important player on this team (IMHO).

Here's hoping that Jones has the season that DCTF predicts.

The roster note for Jones says he also had offers from "Memphis and others." How was it that with a good senior year in a good program he did not receive more recruiting attention?

I believe he didn't play much as a Junior due to injury-plus he's a tad undersized. Crazy senior year and his video was awesome

Yeah-he was hurt-kudos for Morris and staff because I believe SMU jumped on him in the first few days after Morris got the job

"Jones bounced back from an injury-riddled junior year to rush for 1,952 yards and 29 touchdowns. He also had 36 receptions for 423 yards and two TDs, helping the Lions reach the regional finals.

"It's awesome, just because of the turmoil he went through his junior year, and even going into his senior year, and then the work he put in – I couldn't have been happier for him and the success he had," coach Sam Parker said."
