Quinn is bigger and faster than Beasley.

Yep, at about 6'1 200 with speed, more like a bigger version of Emmanuel Sanders or Corey Coleman imo.

I doubt he's faster

4.38-in the 40-yard dash,
Beazz 4.65. I stand corrected. That's fast. If he has a pair of hands as good will be great.

4 star kid with major offers.

ARTICLE COMMITMENTS

The LSU faithful collectively jumped for joy when Trey Quinn, a long-time fan favorite, announced his intention to continue his career in Baton Rouge. A four-star WR ranked 35th in the nation at his position, Quinn has been arguably the most dangerous player in the state over the past two years.

"Trey is a talented player with the ability to play outside or in the slot," said Jimmy Smith, nola.com recruiting analyst. "He's very sure-handed and gets in and out of his breaks with ease. He has enough speed to stretch the field and hurt you on all three levels."

So why are you all automatically comparing him to Cole? Will you all also make a comment that Trey Quinn is a really hard worker and puts a lot of extra time in the gym?

Welcome to SMU and I hope you have a buddy who is a potential All SEC defensive lineman who will follow you.

He got in the doghouse after the Alabama game his freshman year

"Ranked as a top-10 receiver nationally in the 2014 class, Quinn began his rookie season as a starter for the Tigers, mostly at the slot receiver position and primarily as a run-blocker. He lost that job after a nightmarish game in an overtime loss to Alabama.

Quinn dropped two third-down passes late in that game that would have picked up first downs. He played sparingly at receiver the rest of the season and began his sophomore year as a reserve before the Texas Bowl on Dec. 29."

I don't specifically remember him in the Alabama game but a lot of the comments on LSU sites said that he had his bell rung in the first half of that game and it might have had something to do with those two drops.

Lsu doesn't move the ball that well through the air in that offense. A number 3 or 4 guy there isn't going to get many balls. He could excel with our wide open look

Ha! Cole and Quinn do have something in common. Both dropped 2 straight balls in critical situations to lose a big game in their freshman season. Cole was in the Dog House too
