He only needs to be there long enough to be ready for the MLB draft.

Murray may be talented, but he is too small to thrive as a B12 QB.

I don't see in the article where Murray is unhappy.

for those that fussed that (I don't hold to that opinion) CJ was a "helicopter dad", Kevin Murray has essentially written the remainder of the book on that subject. Murray (dad) is still semi-revered here in Aggieland, at least up and until his son (and dad) got their collective pants in a wad about not immediately starting, and actually having to earn the starting QB position. Baseball coach indicated he was a problem child as well, regarding grumping about where he would fit.

Couple that with the great success he had at Allen, and the young man and dad were a bit nonplussed by the lack of instant success at A&M. While he is no doubt a talent, I would pass on him simply for the headache he would create for the rest of the team. A&M is NOT mourning his departure.

While the lack of success at TAMU was certainly a factor in his decision, TAMU's inability to hang onto QB's suggest a large part of the part of the problem is with Team Sumlin. Having your starting QB (Allen) transfer out is a GIANT red flag. http://sportsday.dallasnews.com/college ... d-transfer

Right, there is no mention of Murray. I guess footballdad is just stirring the pot based on assumption because I don't see anything factual.
