Ahhhh, they're not releasing it to protect the victims. That's the best they could come up with?

Actually, it is. Although nobody (to my knowledge) has published the name of Sam Ukwuachu's victim, it is not hard to identify her from her allegations.

If they release the entire report, the crackpot Baylor fans will use that information to identify/discredit the victims like the Penn doucher Penn State fans tried to discredit people identified in the Sandusky/Paterno report.

Solution: (1) we will not release the entire report, (2) although "everyone was not involved in wrongdoing, we need to start over with a new FB staff effective immediately.

Uh....OK.

Faulk was the National Junior College Defensive Player of the Year, and yet only Baylor offered him?

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I've got to ask why. Is he damaged goods just like Sam Ukwuachu?

I repeat:

Baylor is screwed.

http://www.si.com/college-football/2016 ... iles-aware

Both the player and the girl say that Art's SIL knew about the attacks, and the girl says Art did, and they did nothing. The girls coach, multiple staffers including the chaplin, and even the player's mom knew (and the mom tried to get the girl not to go to the police) and nothing happened. Complete and total systematic failure.

The girl has pictures taken by the police and says she had a text conversation with the coach. Yet the player said he was never even questioned by the police.

More heads are going to roll, and this is going to get even bigger.

They ALL knew. Doesn't everyone get that? It's a close-knit/I've got your back staff. They had entire meetings about this stuff... fully discussed with a company line imposed and memorized. I just assumed everyone knew that. No?

Someday, the people at Harvard are going to write a case study on Baylor's crisis management failures.

For what it is worth, the Baylor alumni association was always anti-Ken Starr, wanted him fired a long time ago, is completely on board with firing Briles, wants the rest of the coaches to go, and is pressuring the administration to release the full report ASAP.

And you know this because you attend Baylor alumni association meetings? You also predicted that Baylor would give releases to any player that wanted them. Looks like you were wrong on another prediction.

This isn't over yet. Don't get on the soapbox too quickly. That alumni association is going to have their voice heard before this is all over because there are enough threats to pull donations.

"The story has been falsely constructed,” Chafin said. “No one knows the entire story. This girl is not who she claims to be.” He also claimed that the was never interviewed by Waco police

My favorite part of the SI story. Feeling generous this evening, I will say there is probably more to the story than what is in the article (either good or bad). Even though his comment could be interpreted as blaming the victim. This is just another complete failure by Baylor in crisis management. Before they escorted this kid off campus, they should have told him to keep his mouth shut. He should have been told that anything he says can be spun, misconstrued or just make him look like a thug (there are no more friendly journalists out there anymore for anyone associated with Baylor).

Does anyone know if the State of Texas/Feds are going to investigate the Waco PD for how they handled these things?
