Cincinnati Bengals: Margus Hunt out to prove he belongs
By Laurel Pfahler

CINCINNATI — The further along Margus Hunt gets into his NFL career, the more he feels like he’s got to prove he really belongs – and fast.

The fourth-year Bengals defensive end has appeared in 27 games over the past three seasons but has seen limited snaps during that time while nursing injuries and still learning the sport he just began playing in 2009.

The 6-foot-8, 290-pound Estonian former track and field standout doesn’t use inexperience as an excuse but his time could be running out.

No, I'd say much more urgency for him now. Make or break preseason for him to even make the roster. His DLine coach has finally called him out.

"He's got to do something here quickly --- in the preseason especially. He's one of those guys we have to find out if he can do it."

50/50 shot he makes the roster.
