Women's Clinic

Postby leopold » Thu Jun 30, 2016 3:25 pm

I received an e-mail for the SMU women's clinic and showed it to my wife who is vaguely interested in attending although she's not an alum. I think it's a great idea, but she and I had a couple of questions about the format and were wondering if anyone had gone or had a wife/daughter/friend go.

Can anyone tell me about the format?
Are there any non-SMU alum there?
Is it just informational or is it also interactive?
Anything else someone who has attended can share?

Thanks!

No clue. Also what's up with Bless the Balls? Are these two events related?

No, they are separate. The Ladies clinic I believe is just to get women involved and I think it benefits their charity. The Bless the Balls thing is an alumni event where you get to hang with the coaches, etc.

This clinic is important to attendance.
When you're asking families to come sit in the blastfurnace, it helps when everyone is into the game.

I know this may sound crazy, but I kind of wish they geared it to "football newbies" or something like that, rather than "women".

But women don't understand football, they need it explained differently to them. Ovaries and all.

Women's Clinic

I am sure if the law allows a person to choose which bathroom he or she can use that a man can show up at a women's clinic on football. Just bring a note from the POTUS.

or the ever-popular "presenting myself as a woman" motif...actually had someone here in Navasota use that one...really...

Only if you look like your avatar when your finished. 8) In other words...NO.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Two coaches suspended because of it. I think they hired Briles as an advisor.
