This absolute crime in this situation is the fact that Morris had to start building a foundation. I still hold Hart responsible for the last 2 years of the JJ debacle when it was clear he had given up and had stopped recruiting.

I hear you, but if Hart fired a head coach who had taken a moribund SMU program to 3 bowls in 4 years, nobody in their right mind would have taken the job (no job security). We can't be too critical of the process seeing as how the situation played out in the best possible way. Like the Brown/Jank hire, way better than any on this board could have predicted.

Did you forget one of our 2 appearances in the Hawaii Bowl?

2009 Hawaii Bowl v Nevada
2010 Armed Forces Bowl v Army
2011 BBVA Bowl v Pitt
2012 Hawaii Bowl v Fresno State

If our team improves as expected Morris is going to get a call from some major program. A&M ain't Baylor, and NOBODY is going to blame him for going to the Southeastern Conference, I don't care what the conditions

Point is, I am about to start rooting hard for any SEC West school not named 'Alabama.'

KEEP KEVIN!

I think they go after Herman and the other coaches in the AAC before Morris gets a call. And SEC coaches are always in that hot seat according to the fans so that aint news...Malzahn and Sumlin are not getting fired folks.

Auburn fired Chizik two years after he gave them the best season in their history and their second Heisman winner.

Becha dollar either Malzahn or Sumlin is gone by Jan 1.

Sumlin is very likely toast. They're history of under-performing is too deep. But if that does happen this year and their search is this off-season, there's no earthly way they pursue Chad over Herman, regardless of who's dream job is where...

A&M job will always be a short timers job at least until Saban retires. Only LSU really has a chance to win that division based on their annual recruiting.

If A&M or Baylor hire Chad I say we go after Kevin Sumlin or Art Briles.

Sure there is.

Have Chad beat Herman. (and yes, it can be done this year)

That'll have people sit up and take notice.
