I think everybody on here "gets it". This is something smu or the mustang club has to get proactive about. It's a culture issue. The boulevard was intended to 'supplement' or enhance the gameday experience. For too many people, it now seems to have replaced the game experience. Because it's easier, cheaper, more flexible, less hot etc. so smu has to be active in countering that and getting people into the stadium. Because without the game, there is no boulevard and no fundraising opportunities for cox and the law school etc. first thing is has SMU studied the numbers? How many people are on the boulevard compared to the game? For example, Are there 15,000 on the vard but only 10,000 making it into the stadium (late or not late)? Get the ticket sellers out there on the ground, that can be done immediately.

Love it!....Do you take appointments?

There would be a line at your door comparable to the non-sense at our tiny stadium entry gates!

If you prescribe unlimited refills of Xanax I'm there!

Here's a wild idea. Open every gate by hiring as many $15/hr yellow shirt guys as necessary for 2hrs during stadium entry.

The people who remain on the Blvd (there are several groups on the South End I always pass when I exit the stadium) are immune to shame. They are the same type of people that run stop signs, park in handicap spaces, cut in line, etc., doing a lot of "wrong" things without any disgrace of being seen by others. They just don't care. Yet they fly their SMU banners as if they really did.

The same ones who fly the flag but talk about how bad the program is and always will be around their golf partners. At least one per group donates something, I guess.

Perhaps when they finally get around to building that $50M IPF on the soccer field...we can commit to tree-lining that walkway to the stadium and perhaps transitioning some of them Blvd that way. Put a live music stage near Doak's statue, move frat/sorority/dad tents down there, etc.

BINGO!

There is nothing more depressing than making a point to get into the stadium early only to see it empty at kickoff for a big game.

DOUBLE BINGO! How do do think the team feels, when the dramatic pregame entrance happens in front of only the loyal 1,500.

I did feel bad for the team last Saturday. Yes the opponent was not a top name but it was the opening game of the season and kind of sets the tone for going forward.

Players are never more excited and anxious than the first game and it had to have been depressing to see the empty stadium.

They need to say the game starts at 6:30 then start it at 7.
