Boulevard Questions

Postby coloradoStang » Thu Sep 22, 2016 6:40 pm

My group is on our second year of having a boulevard spot. We have a spot on the side so we have remote parking (binkley) not adjacent. This year we have a lot better setup with some mildly expensive toys (speakers, TV, tent, chairs, etc.)

In the past we have just left all of our gear out and picked everything up after the game. We usually drive the truck up next to the spot after the game and load everything up in the dark.

What does everyone else do? We would hate to get our stuff stolen but it seems like a huge hassel to pick everything up before the game and would be basically impossible to walk it all to the remote parking spot in Binkley. Anyone ever have a theft issue?

Been doing the same for eight years. When we had nice tv's we would find some students and pay them in beer to sit and watch.

We either pack up everything of value into our trailer, leaving tents and tables until after the game (which I realize is not an option for you), or we sometimes we have a tailgate baby sitter, usually a spouse or other family member or friend who enjoys tailgating on the Boulevard with us, but supports another team whose team is on tv during that time, so they stay out and watch their game at our spot.
