I agree that we should hope to beat them and at least put us back in the conversation for moving to P5. Hoping Houston wins every game only helps them and gives the conference a short-term benefit. I agree that the chances of beating Houston is laughable. Unless Jesus comes down and cures Matt Davis ailment we have no chance of getting more than 2 TDs.

Beating Houston would not put us back in the conversation for moving to P5

Conference realignment has nothing to do with what happens on the field this year. These are long term decisions based on other factors.

Nope. Still only 4 entrances to the stadium and all with metal detectors. At least there were 5-10 detectors at each entrance, but it still took 20 minutes to get into the stadium.

yet Fox did a pregame camera span of Baylor's Mclane Stadium 5 minutes BEFORE kickoff and you couldn't see any empty seats among 45,000 fans and they have longer lines 40 minutes before their games (I noted the same thing before SMU/Baylor game)

At SMU half the seats are empty at Kickoff-different culture at SMU

Would you want to hang around outside of Houston's stadium and party before a game?

Thought I would throw this in this thread rather than start a new one.

I usually do not watch Monday Night FB but was watching the pregame tonight and they have a segment called Getting Mossed, where they show exceptional leaping receptions (ala Randy Moss). Proche made the list with his late leaping catch in front of the SMU bench Friday night.
