Temple has recruited well. They are bigger, faster, stronger and more athletic than SMU.

Looking at the AAC verse being in CUSA is that the recruiting level is better. In CUSA if you had a low level recruiting class a team could still have a chance to do well in conference play and make a bowl game because almost everyone else had low level recruiting classes. So you could have the mentality of let's just wait until the conference play starts and then just about every team will be about the same level of talent or less. So you could kind of take it easy once conference play started. Now in AAC, SMU is going to have to bring it in full just about every week. Even Tulane might not be an auto win with their new coach. Beat Tulsa.
