Enjoy. The look on his face while our players are screaming in the background is the greatest.

He's on the verge of crying. I almost feel bad for him now.

He needs to go give all his players another kiss. Bless their hearts.

How do you think he felt hearing the celebrating going on during the PC?

That's the look of a coach who has worked his whole life to get the "fame and fortune" job only to see it start slipping away. He is shocked and nervous the season may spin out of control.

I see a UH team that isn't playing hard or with any confidence..... As if they realize their coach is bailing on them.

Glad he said his guys "played their tails off." It would have been different if he had said his guys laid an egg, didn't show up, etc. But the fact that he said his guys played their tails off somehow adds an extra measure of satisfaction to the victory.

And yes, he did look/sound like he might cry.

The same thing happened to Memphis last year.

Yeah that's why they laid a 63-0 beating on SMU...

Or lost three in a row after making it up to No. 15. including two blowouts and a huge choke job against Houston.

It was classic that it was announced during the game that the coach was leaving.

Sounded like one guy had the same loud holler a million times. Herman is going to hear that in his sleep.

Awesome.

coach speak...and footballdad would tell you the coach should always take blame and never say his team was flat and didn't give maximum effort because kids can't accept criticism and responsibility for poor play. From where I sat, that was nowhere near the 11th best team in the country we played last night. While I give kudos to SMU's coaching staff and players for out coaching and out playing Houston, our guys have a very tough road ahead to accomplish their goal of winning 6 games

The SMU players celebrating in the background is CLASSIC

I'm not sure I've ever heard that-but I guess SMU's players were just celebrating VERY LOUDLY

Don't forget, he finished in second place in our coaching vacancy derby. Explains a lot.
