I think Cincinnati is perfect for Strong. Right across the river from his biggest success story and can take advantage of his East Coast recruiting base.

Why can't he just trade with Herman and go to Houston?

What about Strong to Baylor....they need a guy with his character....don't know if he fits with what their offensive talent is geared toward though. That way they would also leave our Coach alone.....dare I say stop harassing him.

another question in the Charlie Strong equation is whether his buyout would be affected in any way by his taking another job right away...especially another job in Texas or in the Big XII

After losing to Cal and OK State Strong had to beat OU to survive. I think that he held out some delusions, but I noticed that after the OU loss his supporters started the mantra that "no matter who coaches" next year, the 2017 squad is destined for greatness. Also, about that time, I heard so many people around Austin repeating (in typical UT fashion) that coaching at Texas demands not a coach, but a sophisticated CEO, and that Strong was a good coach but unable to handle the intricacies of UT.

There is probably a mitigation clause
