ESPN is doing their best to stop LSU from taking Herman.

1) If Herman picks LSU over UT, it is going to be a statement about what the coaching community really thinks about the UT job. UT going after Saban or Harbaugh is a joke.
2) I think Miles is too defensive for UT. I think they will go after an offensive coach, even though I think he would do great at UT. Plus, how does UT look if they get dumped by Herman for LSU and then they take LSU's fired coach? UT can't accept playing second fiddle.
3) Watch A&M - the moment the LSU info came out word came out that they are unhappy with Sumlin. They will do anything to keep Herman from ending up at LSU.
4) UT won't touch Morris, not right now. He would do well, but hiring a coach with a losing record from a lower tier school will cause riots in Austin. If they don't get a big name, they will stand pat.
5) If Herman does take the LSU job and both UT and A&M stand pat, it increase the odds Morris stays until next year because both big jobs are open.
6) If both A&M and UT make changes this year, it significantly increases the odds Morris goes to Baylor despite all the issues at the program.
