@SMUCoachMalone: Sometimes you have to forget what's gone, appreciate what remains, and look forward to what's coming next.

Well, that pretty much removes the 1% chance (in my mind, at least) that SMU would renegotiate with CM and he would stay. honestly, I expected to get at least 3-4 years out of him and thought there was a small chance he be the Patterson of SMU. When I heard it was Baylor I initially thought it was a joke, because he obviously could have gotten a better job down the road, but I guess $20-25mm guaranteed is too hard to turn down for a guy who was a high school gym teacher a few years ago.

Crap week for pony fans: this, plus it's becoming pretty clear that the basketball success will end up being short-lived and really just driven by LB

LB told me just three weeks ago that he is a big fan of Morris.

Now it makes total sense. Looks like Morris learned a thing or two from him.

Malone really wanted be the head coach at SMU but SMU did not want him as head coach. He has to move on even though it will be tough emotionally.

does this mean they will start dropping the "Larry Brown Season Ticket" pricing?

Ought to delay the planned reseating for the 2018-19 season.

Moody will be back to pre-lb attendance soon.

Idk why van tweeted that. Is he a teenager in disguise?

He's been a d coordinator at a G5 school for 2 seasons he doesn't deserve the job based on the salary we are willing to pay and his current experience / body of work. Best of luck to him but pretty unprofessional to tweet that before senior day when we're trying to go to a bowl

We don't have to pay him high salary and could use the money saved on getting good asstitant coaches. Your post is stupid. But I am all in for Montgomery at this point.

High-priced assistants want to work for "name" coaches.
