Aren't you the one that said 8 wins and he is out of here next year? So you don't mind being used as a women of convenience (PC term)next year? That would mean the 2018 recruiting class would not even see him.
Do you have a spreadsheet where you keep track of what many posters have said in the past or are you keeping all of this info in your head?

Definitely awkward. But it will probably all play itself out in a few days. If he stays they will probably come out in public as best friends and say how truly committed The SMU administration is to winning.

This exchange reminds of a literature professor at an Ivy League school.
He was trying to get his students to understand that authors often place much deeper meanings by using descriptions of objects as metaphors
He explained that a passage in a popular Depression era novel was just such an example. The author described the appearance of a modest home's den and in particular, the curtains. The passages simple described the curtains as, 'the curtains were blue.' The professor explained to the class that the author was trying to describe the oppressive feelings brought on by the Depression and the mood of society being that of melancholy and Hopelessness. Not only the deep color framing the mood, but also that those feeling were so oppressive that there also was not light representing there feeling of no hope of future.
As it were , the author made an appearance at the school later that semester and one of the students ask him about the professor's interpretation? Was the description of the curtains about the mood and feelings of the hard times facing America?
The authors answer, 'the f--King curtains were blue!'
Sometimes, we place too much meaning into ordinary events.

Haha RGT was just trying to lock arms. I was waiting for him to use his extreme handshaking strength to bring CM to his knees.

Good grief guys! Chad was po'd and embarassed by the performance and just wanted to get off the field, but did stop to shake hands. Nothing more than that.
