In Saturdays game ABOUT 13:00 MINUTES left in the fourth quarter: JUSTIN Lawler BLOCKED A FIELD GOAL ATTEMP !! HE WAS NOT CREDITED FOR IT ON HIS STATS or ON THE GAME LOG!!! DID THE BLOCK NOT COUNT? THIS IN IMPORTANT ESPECIALLY FOR HIS FUTURE!!! HELP

GREEN PICKED IT UP BUT LAWLER MADE THE BLOCK!!!! LAST YEAR MY WIFE AND I TRAVELLED TO THE SMU GAME IN FLORIDA!!!! HE HAD 5 TACKLES AND A COUPLE OF ASSISTS!!!! THEY GAVE HIM 0!!!!! NFL LOOKS AT STATS LIKE THAT!!! I DONT WANT THIS TO GET AWAY!!! HE HAS 5 BLOCKED FIELD GOALS IN HIS CAREER!!!! THANX FOR THE SUPPORT!!! HE WORKS HARD EVERY DAY!!!!!!

Hopefully they look at game tape and not just stats. He carried the defense for 2 years.

Mr. Lawler:

Film, practice visits, pro day and conversation with the coaches (mix in a little gym stats), is what the NFL will pay more attention to. I had a nephew who played a few years ago, and the assts. that chart the game day stats always made mistakes on tackle/fumble credit and the like, etc. It is hard to pick some of that out in a pile at full speed. He pointed it out a few times in film to the guys, they just shrugged their shoulders and said sorry ... you will probably get credit you don't deserve sometimes too. I guess if he could have pushed it, but it might have come across wrong.

You son is a very good player, he will get noticed with or with out the credit for the block. I really would not sweat it ... JMO ... I know it sucks and you just want what your son earned, and I get that.
