Shoot. Me thinks not much compared to a "Cotton Bowl" not in Fair Park even if that is the only way it can be part of the CFP.

Not old enough to remember Brock. But the Cotton Bowl is looking at an undefeated top twenty team that will probably play the winner of Bedlam, who will be top 10.

WAIT - JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING

Remind me - Could that be a rematch of Oklahoma State - Western Michigan?

I guess I should have put a little more context into post for the children:

Let’s let legendary Cotton Bowl promoter Jim (“Hoss”) Brock tell it like it is. Baylor? “They come to town with a list of the Ten Commandments and a $20 bill, and they leave without breaking either one.” UH? “Half their fans are eating at the 7-11. The other half are trying to rob it.”

The Chippewas from Mt Pleasant, MI...a team that could only win 3 games in the MAC but managed to beat OSU in Stillwater. Big XII had an ugly start to this season, that's for sure.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize everybody not born before Woodstock was a child.

And I already heard the Baylor joke - it's a standard one in Memphis from when they came to the Liberty Bowl.

(cut from Pasadena, 73 degree temperature and the Rose Bowl parade)

Hello everyone, this is Lindsey Nelson reporting live from the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, TX where an ice storm has taken over this fair city....
