When he first started talking to Baylor, it was early and the mess that is that program was maybe not quite so obvious (to some). Now that they are on head coach inquiry number 42, it is clear that not many want to try to rescue that place - and the world is going to be different down there for a long time.

Rick - can we get them back on the schedule real quick? Just our luck we got them for their three best years ever.

Don't worry, it was likely due to having us on their schedule that cost them at least one BCS playoff spot. Even in a loss, we led to Baylor failing. I can sleep happy knowing that.

Yes, I too take pride in being a part of Baylor's "atrocious 2015 non-conference schedule"...being a SMU fan is a strange business #PerunaIsLife

I hope he is feeling better, because based on the article I found below, he needs to get down to Austin and make sure Cade Brewer doesn't go to UT.

In addition to Baylor...We have ruined the championship hopes of many teams in their best ever seasons:

Texas A&M - 1994 (via the tie)
TCU - 2005 (via beating them)
TCU - 2010 (via our crappy sos)
TCU - 2011 (via beating them)
Houston - 2016 (via beating them)

I think this was the crux of many posters frustration with all this. ABB.
