You can take the UH route:

@McMurphyESPN: UH President Renu Khator on Tom Herman at UT: “I hope he does better than (Kevin) Sumlin is doing for A&M or (Art) Briles did for Baylor”

Maybe it was the way they were bred at UH that was the problem.

Eh, I'm not blaming UH for this one.

They've got Dumped Girlfriend syndrome after watching their third coach bigger-better-deal them and I can sympathize. All they have done is give those coaches the chance to win and be millionaires, and they keep watching them leave. If UH wants to talk a little smack, let 'em - we were almost in that position a week ago ourselves.

They have all dumped on UH when they got to their next destination. I have no problem with that little jab. The truth hurts.

It remains to be seen whether SMU will be "classy" when our coach bails on us

Isn't that the same guy who said Lane Kiffin never was leading for the job, but then couldn't explain why UH was negotiating a contract with Kiffin before settling for Applewhite?

Prez needs a new PR team. Not a good statement for a president to make.

No, that was Tilman Fertitta, their board chairman.

He also said that Applewhite will be fired unless he wins at least 9 games.

I don't remember Sumlin, Briles or Herman dumping on UH when they left.

Sumlin is making more than 5 million winning at least 8 games in the SEC and going to nice bowl games. Why is that bad again?

A lot of people will say stupid or classless [deleted]...but Hart and Turner won't be among them. Indicative of the culture at the top in Houston, and it will only get worse the more Tilman is around.
