Navy was so spent after putting up 75 on us (after 66 on E Car the previous week) that they lost their last three games. Takes a lot out of a team to score 141 points in the AAC.

It is amazing how football karma totally took Navy down after they ran the score up on us.

Losing their starting QB and RB with a run oriented offense did not help either.

Navy's backup quarterback had over a hundred yards rushing in the fourth quarter against SMU.

They did nothing but run the football...

How did they run the score up? Our team simply checked out in that 2nd half. Big time.

We tend to do that in last games of the season against anybody named Memphis or Navy. Tradition.
