I wonder if he will purchase an injury insurance policy?
But it looks like that is not as easy as it sounds.

Cortland reminds me of the tight end from UCF when someone I knew played there Brandon%. only Courtland could actually catch the ball.

Seriously great news and look forward to Sutton being the #1 receiver taken in 2018.

I think that if you are projected at a high enough level that the school can pay for the policy and then be reimbursed either when a contract is signed or the policy is paid. I am not sure of all the details but he is probably projected high enough to be covered.

Let's hope that the coaches can help him improve and that he does not get hurt.

Well he could get hurt in the NFL preseason and have no career or degree. I am impressed with his rationale and desire to enjoy a good last year of college and to graduate.

If he gets hurt in his preseason he will still have his contract and signing bonus. They don't lock you out of college where you can't come back and get your degree if you go pro early. He most colleges are making it where players can come back and get their degree for free. Also with his signing bonus he could come back to SMU and get his degree anytime. Let's hope this does not backfire on him like it did with Jake Butt. Or do like Matt Barkley and have a not so good senior year. We'll see. I wish him the best.
