OU Not Paying Its Players Any More?

Postby Stallion » Tue Jan 17, 2017 8:14 pm

football career apparently over unless he gets transferred to play for Burt Reynold's Mean Machine

originally committed to hometown Baylor but decommitted after Briles' scandal-but one of the 3 allegations of aggravated robbery occurred on the Baylor campus

I've heard of an academic redshirt, redshirt, medical redshirt, greyshirt and blueshirt but I think Bob Stoops has gone too far with inventing the striped shirt for Correctional Redshirts

Coaches know the character of the kids they offer. Briles knew many of his recruits were problems but took them because of their ability. The football industry knows this and thus he is unemployable as a D1 HC.

It will be very interesting to read the BU post mortum on this football scandle when all the dust settles in 5 years or so.

A couple guys. Sure take the risk. But what was brilesdoing he recruited some low caliber guys. Showed in their lack of discipline on the field.

Nobody should be taking chances on guys with aggravated robbery or sexual assault on their resume

It's a program started back in Barry Switzer's time. It's called, "The Honor Team" for....yes your Honor; no your Honor
