"and the hits keep coming.... "

Baylor at this point can't even get out of their own way.

Shouldn't their PR person say no talking to the press for six months?

Someone needs to tell this helmet head nobody cares if she is tired of hearing it or not. And no - this could not happen at any school. Only the ones that encourage selling their souls.

"The problems that we have at Baylor are no different than the problems at any other school in America. Period. Move on. Find another story to write."

Tone deaf. Agree with the 6 month press ban.

Not sure that every other school in America has this problem. I believe Baylor is the only university that had the head football coach, AD, Title XI director, President of the University not to mention other people that all were fired over 50+ sexual assault accusations that the school/local law enforcement/athletic department all seemed to turn a blind eye to and tell the victims to be quiet. I believe this story was very much under reported for a long while. Took a Texas Monthly article to bring this to light.

The question about sending my daughter to Baylor would not be about the statistical chance that something like this would happen to her. It would be the schools response IF something did happen to her. And their response, both in past and present tense, give me the impression they haven't quite figured that part out yet. That is worrisome.

After Baylor women's basketball team beat Texas Tech and clinched the Big 12 regular-season title Saturday, Bears coach Kim Mulkey grabbed a microphone and stuck up for Baylor, going so far as telling fans to "knock them right in the face" if they ever hear anyone being critical of the school.

She is as sick & demented as the men who were fired. She should be fired immediately. Pathetic.

Sounds like a healthy relationship:

===================
It says he “grabbed both of (her) arms, backed her up roughly 10 feet, slammed her against the car, and threw her on the floor.

Besides the physical violence, the affidavit says Blanchard “controls many aspects of the applicant’s life”, including what she can wear, who she talks to, and what she posts on social media.

It also says Blanchard “damages the applicant’s property when she tries to break up with him, as well as place a joker card, otherwise known as the killer card, on her car."

Well she was warned not to say anything critical of Baylor
