1) Who goes to bed at 10 PM on a Saturday night?
2) The Pac-12 plays most of its games in the day and is increasing that number. http://blogs.mercurynews.com/collegespo ... -storming/

Maybe not to bed but a lot people go out on Saturday Nite-I rarely if ever see a west coast prime time game. Game wouldn't end until 1:30 on East Coast. Even their 4:00 west Coast games are going to be missed by many that like to go out to dinner or drinking on East Coast and even the Central Time Zone. Its definitely a problem for the PAC

yes - added to the fact that scores come across the board on weekends all the time causing interest and attention, but by the time the PAC scores start coming across the world is asleep.

most east coast college football fans are more interested in SEC and ACC games being played in "prime time" on Saturdays. PAC 12 will not significantly improve it's ratings if they think they can go head to head against SEC and ACC for east coast viewers

I meant that somewhat tongue in cheek, but no one watches football Saturday night, especially late.
As far as going to bed, wait until you have a wife and three kids under six and a job that requires you get up every morning at 5:00AM in anticipation of a one hour commute into the city, then tell me you are up until 1:30AM watching a West Coast college game.
