This is the media darling SEC we are talking about. Ole Miss will get sanctions that will return them to their "rightful" place near the bottom of the SEC West standings, but they will still make their $$

Freeze is well liked in Oxford and has them nationally relevant and beating Alabama regardless of the cost. Gonna take more than this for him to lose his job.

I wonder if their admission of 1 year probation was similar to the bind SMU got in-automatic 1 year ban for a Level 2 violation-not sure if I'm saying that right. I do remember SMU had very little grounds for appeal based on the new standards

I think beating Alabama was their big mistake. Kind of like when we beat Texas in 1980.
