Carmouche to linebacker, LSU transfer receiver is going to be a nightmare to the secondary.

So many unknowns right now imo, I am excited to see where we are by the end of Springball and who starts to step-up as tentative starters on both sides of the ball.

Saturday is going to be a great day, open FB practice to kick-off 2017; followed by cutting down the nets after beating Memphis in BBall.

Was Quinn hurt as a soph or recruited over? His SMU bio seems to show a more productive first year at LSU.

I'm always happy to see the addition of someone who is evidently a capable player but might rather have seen a LB or a lineman on either side of the ball.

I think that he is more of a possession guy than a speed guy. Although they definitely have a place on a SEC Roster (See G. Dieter playing for Bama this year), he wasn't going to be "the guy" there.

In his own words: http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2016/ ... quinn.html

"Ranked as a top-10 receiver nationally in the 2014 class, Quinn began his rookie season as a starter for the Tigers, mostly at the slot receiver position and primarily as a run-blocker. He lost that job after a nightmarish game in an overtime loss to Alabama.

Quinn dropped two third-down passes late in that game that would have picked up first downs. He played sparingly at receiver the rest of the season and began his sophomore year as a reserve before the Texas Bowl on Dec. 29."

Some would speculate that he was concussed during that Alabama game, right?

That's what LSU fans said, though Quinn attributed it to vision problems and "hitting the freshman wall".
