Well Stallion had spelled out the rules on why he could not get another year and this confirms. Wish him well. Wonder if he will try Canadian at QB?

A really nice young man, wish him the best. If the NFL is his target, he might want to consider a position change. I am not sure his game will transition to the NFL, CFL yes/maybe. He is athletic with a good attitude and work ethic, maybe he could transition to another position. This of course at the NFL level, is easier said then done. But, I wish him nothing but the best.

Wish we'd had him from the git-go.

Too bad couldn't get that 6th year, whether he was our starting QB or moved to another position to get ready for the NFL the experience/time would have benefited him and his leadership and competitiveness would have benefited the team.

Several Aggies I know have voiced the opinion that Davis should have been the A&M starter....

he may be a great guy but no way in the world was he going to beat out manziel.

If he gets any type of contract he will be ahead of Manziel now
