SMU & Saints

As of now, there are 4 SMU players on the Saints' roster. I know its early and the final roster is a long way from being complete but...


Chris Banjo, Safety
Josh LeRibeus, OL, And the Saints are desperate for good O-linemen
Sterling Moore, Corner. He started several games last year when healthy
Thomas Morstead, Punter. Got a feeling he will make the roster.

The Saints have had secondary issues for several years so experience may be an advantage.

All have NFL experience so no rookie, free agent issues. It will be interesting to see how things work out.

for all the criticism of tiki, which is richly deserved IMO, you have to also give him credit for the number of Mustangs that have become NFL players.

Teaching / Coaching was clearly one of his strengths.
