We all know people, friends and/or family in the Houston area. I just found out my aunt's house is flooded. They are okay but they have lost a lot. I hope everyone is keeping a good thought for the Houston Cougars community, the Rice community and everyone in the Houston area. This mess is far from over.

Good to see pics of UH students safe on campus. The fraternity houses had to be evacuated. Hope Rice FB finds a home after flying back from Sydney.

Per the DMN, Chad Morris and Baylor athletic director Mack Rhoades have reached out to Rice head coach David Bailiff to help in any possible way.

From the looks of the score, they need to find a defense, too.

Jay Duncan tweeted that the SMU Basketball program is sending shirts and shoes to the relief effort. Of course, Jarrey's family is down there and so is Wilfong who took a job in Houston.

Seeing now that an inadvertent misspelling must have occurred makes me glad it was originally deleted.

Perhaps they can still use the SMU jerseys the UH team enjoyed walking over.

Yes, it's horrible. Thankfully our subdivision didn't flood, but it's flooded all around us. Thankfully, Harvey is going east rather right over us.
